By the present writ petition, the petitioners are seeking direction towards the respondent/State Election Commission to make necessary correction in the voter list of W.No.6, Nagar Palika Parishad, Pendra to include the names of the petitioners in the voter list for further election. 2. Leaned counsel for the petitioners submit that the names of the petitioners were missing in the voter list of Ward No.6, Pendra,, due to which, they could not give vote in the election which is held on 11/01/2025. Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that for further election process, the respondents may directed to make necessary correction in voter list of W.No.6, Nagar Palika Parishad, Pendra. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the Nagar Palika Parishad election 2025 has already completed on 11/02/2025, which is reflecting from 8.10 of the pleadings of the writ petition and if the petitioners approach the appropriate authority i.e. State Election Commission/respondent for necessary correction in the voter list for next elections, the same shall be considered in accordance with law. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the pleadings. 5. In view of submission made by learned counsel for the State/respondent, the writ petition is disposed of with a 5 direction to the petitioners to approach the appropriate authority for necessary correction in the voter list and it is expected that the concerned authority shall considered the said applications moved by the petitioners for necessary correction in the voter list within a stipulated period in accordance with law. 6.
