ORDER:
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for the respondents. 2. Challenging the action of the respondents in proposing to assign the subject land in R.S.Nos.81, 82, 83 & 104 of A.Polavaram Village, Jangareddigudem Mandal, West Godavari District, classified in the Revenue records as ‘Puntha’ to Government for issuance of house site

Pattas under the scheme of the Government viz., “Navaratnalu – Pedallandariki Illu” in favour of the eligible beneficiaries, the instant writ petition is filed. 3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue has placed before the Court a copy of the instructions, dated 01.01.2025 received by him from the Tahsildar. A perusal of the same would reveal that pursuant to the directions of this Court, the assignment of house site Pattas has been stayed and no further action was taken in respect of the subject land. However, alternate land was proposed for acquisition and the same was acquired for issuance of the house site Pattas. It is further stated that the proposals for change of the classification was done in accordance with law following the due procedure and that there is enough space left open for ingress and aggress for the farmers of the vacant lands. 4. The said instructions of the Tahsildar are placed on record. 5. Recording the said statement of the Tahsildar, an alternate land has been acquired for issuance of the house site Pattas, the grievance of the petitioner is resolved and no further orders are required to be passed. However, if the respondents still feel it appropriate to assign the house site Pattas in respect of the subject land, can only be done by following the due process of law. 3
6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, as no further orders are required to be passed. There shall be no order as to costs.
