Along with that, there also came two other vehicles i.e. Endeavour and Creta in which Savreet Singh, Gurpal Singh @ Pala and Amandeep Singh @ Jyoti. There were other vehicles in the rally in which persons were present. All the above vehicles were signalled to stop by the police but drivers of said vehicles increased the speed of the vehicles and drove the same in a negligent manner, struck the vehicles with the barricades and broke the same and also fired deadly weapons in the air. The occupants of above vehicles obstructed the police in performing their official duty and thereafter all the accused persons ran away towards Khaddor Sahib in their vehicles. During the course of investigation multiple persons came to be nominated as accused. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the co- accused of the petitioner, namely, Manpreet Singh @ Bagga and Gurpreet Singh have been granted the concession of bail vide order dated 18.02.2025 and 31.07.2025 (Annexure P-3 & P-4 respectively). As the petitioner is in custody since 19.04.2023, he is entitled to the similar relief. 4. The learned State counsel on the other hand contends that other than the instant FIR, the petitioner is an accused in 03 other cases. Looking at the nature of the allegations and his criminal antecedents, he is not entitled to the concession of bail. He however, concedes that the petitioner is in custody since 19.04.2023 and that two of his co-accused have been granted the concession of bail. 5. I have heard the learned counsel for the parties. 6. The veracity of the prosecution case against the petitioner and his co-accused shall be adjudicated upon during the course of the trial. Admittedly, the petitioner is in custody since 19.04.2023 and that his co- VINAY MAHAJAN 2025.08.27 17:19 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CRM-M-45876-2025 #3# accused have been granted the concession of bail. Pahara Singh is ordered to be released on bail subject to his furnishing bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of learned CJM/Duty Magistrate, concerned. 8.
