By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the Collector/respondent No.2 to release the balance amount of Rs. 9.91 lacs to the petitioner towards the work completed by the petitioner which was awarded to the petitioner for renovation/maintenance of Pre-metric Anusuchit Jati kanya Chhatrawas Sakti pursuance to the work order dated 16/08/2023. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Gram Panchayat Naudor Khurd, Janpad Panchayat Sakti, District:Sakti
has
undertaken
the
work
of renovation/maintenance of Pre-metri Anusuchit Jati Kanya Chhatrawas, Sakti pursuance to the work order dated 16/08/2023 and an amount Rs. 16.52 lacs have been sanctioned for the said work. Learned counsel by referring annexure P-9 submits that the Work Completion Certificate has been issued by the Superintendent, Government Pre-metric Anusuchit Janjati Kanya Chattravas, Sakti certifying that the work has been completed by the Gram Panchayat, however, in spite of the said completion of work, the remaining amount of Rs. 9.91 lacs is still not being released to the Gram Panchayat. Moreover, the petitioner submitted a representation to the Collector vide Annexure P-7 dated 23/12/2024 to release the remaining amount, but till date, the said amount has not been released. 3. Learned counsel for the State would submit that the petitioner
3 has already submitted a representation to the Collector requesting for remaining amount.
She submits that if the application is still pending before the Collector, the same shall be considered and after due verification, if the amount claimed by the petitioner is not in dispute, then the same shall be released to the Gram Panchayat in accordance with law and the work order issued to the Gram Panchayat. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the representation as well as the Work Completion Certificate Annexure P-9 dated 21/05/2024. 5. As the petitioner is claiming that the work has already been completed, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Collector to consider the representation filed by the petitioner to verify the claim lodged by the petitioner and if the amount claimed by the petitioner is not in dispute, the same shall be released within a period of fifty days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is at liberty to apprise the Collector about the order of this Court. 6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. SD/-
