Petitioner has filed petition under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.130, dated 31.05.2025, under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 332(c), 191(3) and 190 of BNS, 2023, registered at Police Station Gobindgarh Mandi, District Fatehgarh Sahib. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. It is case of version and cross-version and it is yet to be ascertained as to which party was the aggressor. 3. Notice of motion. 4. Mr. Subhash Godara, Addl. A.G. Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State. Learned State counsel fairly admitted that in the present matter the maximum punishment provided is up to seven years. Keeping in view the fact that there is a cross-version in present FIR and it to be adjudicated during the trial whether it is a free fight or who was aggressor.
