Mr.L.Jai Venkatesh, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel for the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3. The case of the petitioner is that, he is the absolute owner of the property situated at 29/6B, Thiruvalluvar Salai 3rd Street, Nesapakkam, Chennai Page No.2 of 6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.32646 of 2025 – 600 078. The building consists of ground plus two floors i.e., three separate houses with separate kitchens and entrances and having three electricity connections in total. The service connection for the 2nd floor is 092290251444 and the service connection for the 1st floor is 092290251443. The EB charges for both the service connections were paid separately. Whilso, in the month of February, 2025, the charges for the above two connections have been merged and instead of two separate bills, a single bill was issued. In order to demerge the same, the petitioner has made online complaint and representations and even thereafter, the problem was not resolved. Therefore, the petitioner has sent a legal notice to the respondents on 23.06.2025 and the same was given a reference number as CGRF Petition No.276 dated 23.06.2025. Since the same was not considered by the respondents, the petitioner has filed the above writ petition before this Court for appropriate orders. 4. Though very many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representations, complaints, CGPF Petition No.276 dated 23.06.2025 and to demerge the two connections 092290251443, 092290251444 and cancel the single bill and regenerate two separate bills and reverse the excess bill amount Page No.3 of 6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.32646 of 2025 paid in February, April, June and August and to pay compensation to him within a stipulated time. 5. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that, the petitioner's representation dated 23.06.2025 will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed by the 2nd respondent. 6. Considering the limited request sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's legal notice, which was given reference as CGPF Petition No.276, dated 23.06.2025 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.
