Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Mango (Olidih O.P.) P.S. Case No. 244 of 2024 for offence under sections 308 (4), 111(2)(b), 111(3) & 61(2) of B.N.S., 2023, pending in the court of Sri Alok Kumar, learned J.M.F.C., Jamshedpur. On 18.08.2024, rangdari was demanded from the informant from a mobile phone bearing number 7633867532, the miscreants had demanded 25 lakh rupees as a rangdari. It was submitted that the mobile phone which was used in demanding rangdari does not belong to the petitioner. It was further submitted that no money was transferred to the accused persons. It was finally submitted that the name of the petitioner has transpired in the confession of co-accused. It was further submitted that similarly situated co-accused has been granted bail by this court earlier. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent. . Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case and considering the fact that there is no cogent material against the petitioner on the record, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Alok Kumar, learned J.M.F.C., Jamshedpur. or his successor in connection with Mango (Olidih O.P.)
