ORDER Date : 19-03-2025 Heard Mr. A. Roshid, learned counsel for the writ petitioner. Also heard Ms. U. Sarma, learned Govt. Advocate, Assam appearing for the State as well as Mr. D.K. Roy,
learned counsel appearing for the respondent No. 9, i.e. SEBA. The writ petitioner had submitted her candidature for appointment in the post of Anganwadi Helper in the Badang Donga Tiniali (General) Anganwadi Centre. Apprehending that respondent No. 6, who belongs to another locality and is not qualified for appointment to the said post, is likely to be selected, the writ petitioner has approached this Court by filing the instant writ petition. It is not in dispute that no selection and appointment has been made as on date. From the averments made in the writ petition, it is apparent that the writ petition has been instituted merely on the basis of apprehension which is not founded on any material basis. Ms. Sarma, learned Govt. Advocate, Assam submits that the writ petition is premature. The said submission of Ms. Sarma is found to be acceptable by this Court. As such, this writ petition stands disposed of as premature. The writ petitioner would, however, be at liberty to approach this Court as and when a proper cause of action arises,
