It is the claim of the petitioner that he had given options for his transfer from accessible area, but he has yet not been transferred. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that some employees were posted in the accessible area on their first posting, which is not permissible; the petitioner had given a representation for his transfer on 07.05.2025 to the respondent no.3, District Youth Welfare and Prantiya Rakshak Dal, Chamoli, District Chamoli, which is Annexure No.5 to the writ petition, but it has yet not been decided. Learned State Counsel was required to get instructions in the matter. Learned State Counsel submits that the petitioner is transferred at present place of posting on administrative grounds; he cannot seek his transfer for the next 5 years. He also submits that the representation dated 07.05.2025, which is Annexure No.5 to the writ petition, as such has yet not been decided. Learned State Counsel submits that the representation dated 07.05.2025, given by the petitioner, which is Annexure No. 5 to the writ petition, will be decided by the respondents within a period of 4 weeks. The Court takes on record the statement given by learned State Counsel. The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondents to decide the representation of the petitioner within a period of 4 weeks from today, in accordance with law.
