Sinha, Advocate ---------- 02/ 17.06.2025 The grievance of the petitioner is that though he was getting the pay- scale of Rs.4000-6000 before pay revision; however, after revision though the pay-scale was supposed to be increased to Rs.7510 in the P.B-II 5200- 20200 with G.P. 2400, which has been given to the other similarly situated persons, list of which is annexed at Annexures-3 and 7; however, due to some reasons or the other, the revised pay of the petitioner has been done at Rs.4000 to entry point of 5200-20200 as against Rs.7510 which is being given to the similarly situated persons. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner has made several representations before the respondent-authorities but this pay anomaly has not been rectified as such the concerned respondent may be directed to look into the matter and remove the pay anomaly. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents submit that since counter- affidavit has not been filed, as such, the respondent-University should be directed to verify the documents and send the necessary recommendations 2025:JHHC:15837 2 to the Director, Department of Higher & Technical Education & Skill Development, Govt. of Jharkhand, Ranchi (respondent No. 1). 4. Having regard to the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and limited submissions of learned counsel the parties and after going through Annexure-1, it is apparent that petitioner was appointed as Routine Clerk in the pay-scale of Rs.4000-6000 which was subsequently revised in the P.B-II 5200-20200 with G.P. 2400 and the entry point was Rs.7510, which are being paid to the similarly situated clerks which is apparent from Annexures-3 and 7; as such, it appears that there is anomaly in pay which has to be rectified by the concerned-respondents. 5. Accordingly, the instant writ application is hereby disposed of by directing the 3rd respondent to treat this writ application as representation and verify the records of the case and also the claim of the petitioner in accordance with law and applicable rules and regulations and recommend the case of the petitioner to the respondent-State within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the respondent No. 1 after going through the recommendation and other documents, do the needful so that the anomaly created be rectified within a further period of 4 weeks. 6. It goes without saying that the consequential monetary benefits shall be paid to the petitioner within a further period of 8 weeks. 7. Accordingly, the instant writ application stands disposed of in the manner indicated hereinabove. (Deepak Roshan, J.) kunal/-
