This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus direction to Respondent No.2 to decide the Case No.353/427 of 1993 (Vijay Kant Versus Sabhajeet Singh and others) Under Section 229-B of U.P.Z.A. and L.R. Act, 1951 pending before Additional Officer (Second) Lalganj, Azamgarh which is pending since 1993 in respect of Aarazi No.72, Area 2.125 Hectare, Arazi No.174 Area 3.250 Hectare, Arazi No. 179 Area 0.74 Hectare, Arazi No.179Mi Area0.480 Hectare, Arazi No.186 Area 41 Hectare Acre situated at Village Kujraun, Pargana-Devgaon, Tehsil- Lalganj, District-Azamgarh within stipulated period by this Hon'ble Court." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that declaratory suit filed under Section 229-B of U.P. Z.A. and L.R. Act is pending consideration before respondent no. 2 since 1993. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the same. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon respondent no. 2 to decide the Case No.353/427 of 1993 (Vijay Kant vs. Sabhajeet Singh and others), in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
