Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. Pradeep Hairiya, learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. By the instant writ petition, petitioners are praying for the following reliefs:- “(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the Respondent Appointing Authority to issue Appointment letter in favour of the Petitioners for appointment on the post of Nursing Officer (Male) pursuant to the Nursing on the post of Nursing Officer (Male/Female) Examination, 2023 in as much as the name of the petitioner figures in the Select List dated 12.09.2023 (Annexure No. 3) to the writ petition.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners argued on previous date that only because of pending Police verification report of the petitioner, appointment of the petitioner was put on hold. 4. Consequently, the learned State Counsel was directed to get the Police verification report of the petitioner and today, Mr. Pradeep Hairiya, learned Standing Counsel placed before this Court the Police verification report of the petitioner dated 07.11.2023. If the appointment of the petitioner is put on hold only because of the pending Police verification report of the 2025:UHC:574 petitioner, on perusal of which, nothing adverse was found against the petitioner. 5. In such an eventuality, let the Director-General/respondent no. 2 may consider the grievances of the petitioner and if the appointment of the petitioner was put on hold only because of the Police verification report, then, he may examine it and pass appropriate order. 6.
