Learned counsel for the petitioner, though initially submitted that the Trial Court erred in dismissing the application of the petitioner for recalling the complainant for further cross-examination as also that denial of such opportunity has caused serious prejudice to him (petitioner) and has violated the principles of natural justice, but on being told that the facts leading to the passing of impugned order have been discussed at length by the learned Magistrate and in the light thereof, impugned order does not suffer REEMA SAINIfrom any illegality, learned counsel contended that in the interest of justice, 2025.08.25 12:34 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court, Chandigarh CRM-M-46094 of 2025 (O&M) -2- only one opportunity be given to the petitioner to cross-examine the complainant.
