Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Bokaro Thermal P.S. Case No. 67 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 140(1), 109, 61 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of Sri Rajesh Ranjan Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Bermo at Tenughat. On 29.07.2024 at about 10:30 A.M., the informant and her mother-in-law took lift at village-Dumar on a motorcycle for going to the Civil Court, Hazaribag. On the way, the motorcyclist stopped the vehicle and started throttling the informant. She raised alarm. On which, people of the locality gathered there and apprehended the accused. He disclosed his name as Shiv Shankar Kumar Mahto. He also confessed that he was given Rs.10,000/- by the co-accused Deepak Kumar for committing the murder of the informant. It was submitted that there is no specific allegation against the petitioner. It was further submitted that co-accused Deepak Kumar @ Deepak Kumar Ram has been granted anticipatory bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide A.B.A. No.7794 of 2024. Mr. Rakesh Ranjan, learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Rajesh Ranjan Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Bermo at Tenughat or his successor in connection with Bokaro Thermal P.S. Case No. 67 of 2024.
