Heard Mr. Navin Kumar Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondent and perused the records. The present writ petition has been filed inter-alia for the following reliefs:- "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent authorities to ensure that the petitioners may not be deployed for non-teaching work like revision of voter list as Booth Level Officer (BLO). (ii) Issue a suitable writ, order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper under the circumstances of the case. ......" At the very outset, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondent submits that the controversy involved in the present petition has already been decided by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide its judgement and order dated 11.02.2025 passed in the case of Surya Pratap Singh vs. State of U.P. and others (Writ-A No. 16401 of 2024). In view of the above, the present writ petition is disposed of in terms of Surya Pratap Singh's case (supra).
