The petitioner has preferred the present petition inter alia with the prayer to direct the respondent no.2 to decide the application of the petitioner dated 12.09.2022 expeditiously. 3. It is argued by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has filed an application dated 12.09.2022 before the respondent no.2 for transfer of gun license of his uncle to the name of the petitioner. It is further argued that considerable time has already been lapsed but till date nothing has been done. 4. On the other hand, learned Standing counsel has placed before this Court the instructions dated 04.09.2025 under the signature of Licensing Authority on behalf of District Magistrate, Prayagraj. 5. It is stated in the aforesaid instructions that in application no.165/2023 submitted by the petitioner, the relevant papers were forwarded for necessary verification to the Office of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ganga Nagar, Commissionerate Prayagraj. It is further stated that as soon as, the necessary instructions will receive, the orders will be passed in the matter. 6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and with the consent of the parties, the respondent no.2 is directed to decide the aforesaid application dated 12.09.2022 expeditiously strictly in Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Dan Bahadur Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C. Lallan Kumar Mishra .....Petitioner(s) State of U.P. and Another .....Respondent(s) accordance with law within a period of two months, without granting unnecessary adjournment unless there is no legal impediment.
