The present petition has been filed praying for writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to re-issue passport in favour of petitioner in pursuance of application No. LK1078678110223 and for direction to the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Court No.19, Deoria to decide his application for issuance of no-objection for grant of passport during pendency of criminal proceedings, by a specified time. 2. It is admitted that the application for issuance of passport has not been granted so far, in view of pendency of Criminal Case No.1681 of 2022 against the petitioner. 3. The case of the petitioner is that he has applied for grant of no- objection before trial court on 20.06.2025 and the application is still pending. Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for direction to the concerned Magistrate to decide the application within specified time. 4. Having regard to the submissions made, we dispose of the instant petition with direction to the concerned Magistrate to decide the application for grant of no-objection, expeditiously, keeping in view the law laid down by Coordinate Bench in Writ-C No. 41540 of 2023 (Pawan Kumar Rajbhar vs. Union of India and 2 others) and other connected matters decided on 19.01.2024, within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of instant order.
