The petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus commanding respondent no.2 to issue passport in his favour in pursuance of his application dated 13.8.2025. 2. Sri Ajay Kumar Gautam, Advocate appearing for respondents no.2, 3 and 5 states that show cause notice has been issued to the petitioner on 8.9.2025 seeking his explanation with regard to pendency of a criminal case against him. 3. As it is not disputed that criminal case is pending against the petitioner, we leave it open to him to obtain no-objection from concerned court in terms of the order of a Coordinate Bench in Writ-C No. 41540 of 2023 (Pawan Kumar Rajbhar vs. Union of India and 2 others) and other connected matters decided on 19.01.2024. The petitioner will also respond to the show cause notice within two weeks. 4. In case no-objection is granted by the concerned court, the Regional Passport Officer shall duly take the same into consideration and process the application of the petitioner for grant of passport, without any further delay. 5.
