03/17.07.2025 The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of direction upon the respondents not to construct a new building for police station over the land appertaining to Dag No. 1246, Khata No. 143, Village-Honwara, measuring an area of 5 Bighas 11 Katthas 1 Dhur as the same has been mentioned as ‘Gochar’ land in the khatiyan.
2. Mr. Shashank Saurav, learned A.C to G.P-III appearing on behalf of the respondents, refers to paragraph 7 of the counter affidavit dated 26.07.2024 filed on behalf of the respondent Nos. 3 to 5, which reads as under:
“7. That with regards to statements made in para 8 to 11 of the writ petition under reply, it is humbly stated and submitted that the statements made in these paragraph are totally denied since no construction work of the Building of Police Station, Hanwara was/is being done till today and in this regard the respondent has already assured the Hon’ble Court that the respondent is not going to construct any Police Station over the ‘Gochar Land’. Hence, the plea taken by the petitioner in this writ application is not proper and is fit to be dismissed.”

3. Considering the aforesaid fact stated in the counter affidavit, there is no need to further proceed with the present matter.
4. The present writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
