Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 86/2024, arising out of Gumla P.S. Case No. 412/2023, registered under sections 376, 302, 201 and 34 of IPC, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge - I - cum - Spl Judge, Gumla. On 30.11.2023 daughter of the informant was raped and beheaded. During the course of investigation witnesses have stated about the complicity of the petitioner. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the trial of this case is under progress and out of 9 witnesses, 7 witnesses have already been examined. Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case and considering the nature of allegation and the fact that the trial of this case is under progress; I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
