By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a limited relief to the respondent no. 1 to decide the pending appeal (Annexure P/19) under Rule 77 (3) of Chhattisgarh Minor Rules 2015, within a stipulated period. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner by placed a communication dated 21.2.2025 issued by the ofÏce of the Collector Mining Branch Raigarh, that date of hearing of the appeal is fixed on 27.02.2025 i.e. today & submits that the pleadings in the appeal has already been completed, however the final order has to be passed. 3. Learned State counsel submits that if the appeal is pending, it appears from the communication placed by the petitioner dated 21.02.2025 itself that the authority has asked the petitioner to appear before him for hearing, hence, the Secretary/respondent no. 1 is proceeding in the appeal in accordance with law and if the 3 appeal is still pending the same shall be considered within a period of 10 days. 4. In view of the above submission, the respondent no. 1 is directed to conclude the proceeding of the appeal within a period of 10 days from today.
