Through this petition, the petitioners seek issuance of directions to respondent No.2 – Commissioner, Hisar Division, Hisar (for short – the Commissioner) to expeditiously decide the appeal filed by them to challenge therein order dated 08.01.2025 passed by the Deputy Commissioner, Sirsa (for short – the DC). It is further prayed that till the decision of the aforesaid appeal the petitioners' dispossession from the land in question be stayed. 2. At the outset, learned State counsel submits that he has express instructions from respondent No.2 that the petitioners' aforesaid appeal or at least the application for stay filed alongwith their appeal shall be decided by him within 04 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law. 3.
