Heard learned counsel for the appellants, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record. This application has been filed for quashing of the cognizance order dated 06.04.2024 passed by Special Judge (SC/ST Act), Siddharth Nagar in Special Criminal Case No. 533 of 2024 arising out of Case Crime no. 326 of 2023, under section 188, 504, 506 IPC and section 3(1)Da, 3(1)Dha, 3(2)5-A of SC/ST Act and 3,5(1) U.P. Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act, 2021, P.S. Bansi, District Siddhartth Nagar as well as charge sheet dated 03.04.2024. On perusal of the record, the Court finds that the allegations made in the first information report disclose commission of a cognizable offence and those allegations have found support from the material collected during the course of investigation on the basis whereof the police has laid a charge sheet against the appellants.Therefore, prayer for quashing the chargesheet as well as cognizance order stand refused.
