Prayer in the present petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.189 dated 16.07.2025, registered under Sections 61-4-20 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914 (Haryana Amendment Bill, 2020), at Police Station Hathin, Distrit Palwal. 2. Status report by way of affidavit of Mohinder Singh, DSP, Hathin, filed on behalf of respondent-State. The same is taken on record. 3. Vide order dated 19.08.2025, while granting interim protection, the petitioner was directed to join investigation. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that pursuant to order dated 19.08.2025, petitioner has joined the investigation and as such his interim bail may be made absolute.
