Dhar, learned Standing Counsel, Handloom & Textile Department, Assam appearing for the respondent Nos.1, 2, 4 and 5, Ms. R. M. Bora, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.3 and Ms. S. Sharma, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.6. The two applicants herein are the legal heirs of deceased Parul Devi, who was the writ petitioner in WP(C) No.4189/2024. Late Parul Devi expired on 30.12.2024 by leaving behind the applicants as her legal heirs. Page No.# 3/3 Mr. Raja submits that this I.A. has been filed with a prayer to substitute the applicants as the legal heirs of the original writ petitioner in WP(C) No.4189/2024. The learned counsel for the respondents have submitted that they would have no objection if the prayer is allowed. In view of the above and after taking note of the statements made in the I.A., the prayer for substitution is hereby allowed. The two applicants herein shall be substituted in place of the writ petitioner in the connected writ petitioner as her legal heirs.
