The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was given a sub-contract by the U.P. Projects Corporation Limited, Varanasi for constructing hostel of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Chandauli. The petitioner has completed the construction work. The Project Director, U.P. Projects Corporation Limited has requested the District Magistrate vide letter dated 20.12.2024 for directing the District Basic Education Officer, Chanduali to take over the possession of the said building. However, the possession has not been taken so far. The petitioner has, therefore, prayed for a writ of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 3- District Basic Education Officer, Chanduali, to take possession of the building, so that the outstanding amount under the contract is paid to the petitioner. 2. As the Project Director, U.P. Projects Corporation Limited has already recommended to the District Magistrate in this regard, therefore, we permit the petitioner to approach the respondent no. 2 for appropriate direction by means of a written representation. 3.
