The instant writ application has been preferred by the petitioner for the following reliefs:
“(A) For a direction upon the Respondents to make payment of arrears of salary for the period November 1997 to February 2000 amounting to Rs. 437063/- and during the period between financial year 2000-01 to 2004-04 amounting to Rs. 185712/- along with interest @ 12%. (B) For a direction upon the Respondents to pay adequate compensation to the petitioner. (C) For any other reliefs(s) to which the Petitioner is legally entitled to in law and equity.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner draws attention of this Court towards supplementary affidavit wherein at paragraph no. 4, it has been stated that respondent no.5 vide letter dated 28.08.2023 stated the details of arrears of salary due towards the petitioner in a tabular chart, accepting the amount of Rs.2,87,409/-.

Accordingly, the instant writ application is hereby disposed of by directing the petitioner to approach respondent no.5 along with aforesaid letter within a period of 4 weeks. The moment the petitioner

approaches the respondent no.5, he shall look into the matter and verify the records of the case and if any amount is still due then he shall do the needful so that admitted dues of the petitioner shall be paid to him. The
order of payment shall be issued within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

The instant writ application stands disposed of.
