The following prayers have been made in the present writ petition: "i. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No. 2 i.e. Reliance General Insurance Company Limited through its Manager, Branch-Etawah, District- Etawah to decide the claim of the petitioner, pending before the respondent No.2, within stipulated time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court (Annexure No.1 to the writ petition). ii. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.2 to pay Accident Claim of Rs. 25 lacs to the petitioner within stipulated time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 2. The Insurance Ombudsman Rules, 2017 provides for the manner in which any person having grievance against an insurer can file complaint to the Insurance Ombudsman. The complete procedure is prescribed for dealing with such complaints. As such, we dispose of the writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Insurance Ombudsman for redressal of her grievance. 3. It is further provided that in the event any such complaint is filed, the Insurance Ombudsman will decide the same expeditiously, in accordance with law.
