This is an application under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 whereby the petitioner Juber Ahmed @ Alom prayed for releasing him on bail after he was arrested in connection with Hojai P.S. Case No.33/2025. 3. The informant has alleged that on 02.02.2025 at mid night, the present petitioner by promising many things eloped with his 15 year old daughter. 4. Mr. Laskar submits that the petitioner is a 24 year old boy and he was in love with the girl. According to Mr. Laskar, the girl was also in love with the present petitioner. Therefore, they both eloped. 5. Mrs. Das has objected to the bail application and submits that the girl was minor at the time of the incident, who was born on 22.10.2009. 6. Mr. Laskar has submitted that the petitioner is a young boy of 24 years and he has already spent 36 days in judicial custody. 7. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. 8. Considering the young age of the petitioner, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioner does not deserve to be detained in custody for any further period of time. Accordingly, his bail application is allowed. 9. The petitioner Juber Ahmed @ Alom who was arrested in connection with Hojai P.S. Case No.33/2025, is allowed to go on bail of ₹20,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hojai, Sankardev Nagar.
