(Oral) Challenge in the present petition is to the order dated 01.08.2025 passed by the Special Judge, Kapurthala in FIR No.378 dated 31.10.2022 registered under Sections 21/22/29 of the NDPS Act, 1985 at Police Station Kotwali, District Kapurthala, whereby the non-bailable warrants have been issued to secure the presence of the petitioner. On being confronted with Section 72 (2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 which empowers the competent Court to cancel the warrants issued against an accused, counsel for the petitioner seeks withdrawal of the present petition, so as to file an appropriate petition before the competent Court in accordance with law.
