Hon'ble Donadi Ramesh,J. Heard learned counsel for the parties. The petitioner claims to be nominee of her husband who was holding Saving Bank Account No.2802000103132312. She is aggrieved by inaction on the part of the Bank to consider her prayer for release of the amount. Learned counsel for the Bank points out that husband of the petitioner has died in 2009 and for the first time, representation is made to the Bank on 07.08.2024. Once the petitioner has approached the concerned authorities after almost 15 years, some delay in its consideration would be inevitable. In such circumstances, we deem it appropriate to request the Bank- respondent to accord consideration to the petitioner's claim for release of the amount in the account of nominee after hearing person concerned within a period of three months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order before it.
