Case No. 92 of 2024, N.D.P.S. Case No.01 of 2025, for the offence registered under Section 20 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (in short NDPS Act), 1985, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Dumka. Mr. R. S. Mazumdar, learned senior counsel for the petitioner submitted that 12 kgs of cannabis were recovered from the house of the petitioner. It was further submitted that the quantum of seized cannabis comes within the purview of intermediary quantity and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and this fact has been mentioned at paragraph-19 of the bail application. Learned A.P.P on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Dumka, in connection with Jama P.S. Case No. 92 of 2024, N.D.P.S. Case No.01 of 2025. (Ambuj Nath, J.) BS/-
