Ahsan Ahmad and others, under Sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506, 342 Indian Penal Code & Section 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station- Sherkot, District Bijnor, pending in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-III, Bijnor to the competent court of jurisdiction at district- Amroha. Applicant-wife is seeking transfer of Case No.169 of 2022 under Section 498-A, 323, 504, 506, 342 I.P.C. and Section 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Sherkot, pending at District Bijnor to the court of competent jurisdiction at Amroha where other cases between the parties are pending. Concededly, this case was lodged at the instance of wife-applicant herself, therefore, keeping in view the distance of 40 kms between the two towns, this Court is not inclined to transfer the case. The application is dismissed.
