Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners were allotted vacant house plots measuring 91 square metres comprised in Survey No.14/2B, Kilkadirpur Village, Kanchipuram Taluk, by the Tahsildar, Kanchipuram Taluk, vide the 1st respondent’s proceedings in Na.Ka.No.26568/2017/A dated 24.01.2018. When the petitioners took steps to fence their respective plots, they were shocked to find an announcement board erected by the District Collector, Kanchipuram District. The board states that the land in Survey No. 14/2B, measuring 0.43.5 ares, classified as 'Anadeenam' belongs to the Government and warns of strict action against trespassers. Aggrieved by this, the petitioners submitted a joint representation dated 23.06.2025 to the respondents. However, the same has not been considered till date. Hence, this writ petition. 3. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to dispose of the petitioners’ representation dated 23.06.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing due notice and affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and other aggrieved parties, if any, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
