The captioned Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to restore the power supply and install electric meter bearing R.R.No.S2EH4637 with consumer I.D.No.0295997000 in respect of the property - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:28157 WP No. 5461 of 2024 No.29/B, Ground Floor, 1st Cross, Bangyappa Garden, Langford Road, Shanthinagar, Bengaluru - 560 016. Counsel for the respective parties urged several contentions. Heard the arguments and perused the Writ papers with care. 3. Counsel Sri.Anil Kumar Shetty., submits that a memo has been filed furnishing true copy of the Decree and a Compromise Petition filed in O.S.No.334/2015. Counsel, therefore, submits that the memo may be placed on record and a direction may be issued to the authority for restoration of power supply. The oral submission made by counsel for the petitioners and the memo is placed on record. 4. A perusal of the compromise petition reflects that the petitioners are in possession of the ground floor of the property in question. However, there is no power supply to their property as of today. Therefore, this Court deems it proper to direct the petitioners to make a representation for restoration of the power supply with necessary documents - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:28157 WP No. 5461 of 2024 within a week's time from the receipt of certified copy of this order. Upon receipt of such a representation, the authority concerned shall consider the same within two weeks thereon in accordance with the law.
