The following prayers have been made in the writ petition: "(i). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to protect and allow the religious prayers and ritual ceremonies of the petitioner and the persons assembling at his residential premises at Prayer Centre for Emmanuel Ministries Trust at Premises of Pastor Shiv Kumar Son of Shri Umesh Kumar, Police Station Thakurwada, District Moradabad. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 22.07.2025 in accordance with law. 2. Case of the petitioner is that he is follower of Isa Masih. He and his family members and other persons assemble at his house to offer prayers but which is being objected to by respondents No. 5 & 6. It is specifically asserted in para-12 of the writ petition that the petitioner is not engaged in conversion of religion of any person and is only seeking protection to exercise his right to follow any religion. 3. It is submitted that the petitioner has already filed representation on 22.07.2025 before the State-respondents and it may be directed to be considered and decided . 4. Shri Rajiv Gupta, learned Addl. Chief Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents has no objection to the same. 5. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Mohd Shahid, Mohd. Aslam Khan Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C. Shiv Kumar .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. And 5 Others .....Respondent(s) disposed of by providing that respondent No. 2 would examine the representation dated 22.07.2025 and take appropriate decision on the same strictly in accordance with law.
