The instant petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of directions to the respondent No.2 to conduct a fair investigation in the case arising out of FIR No.87 dated 25.05.2025, under Sections 115(2), 351(2), 126(2), 191(3), 190 and 110 of BNS, 2023 Police Station City Dhuri, District Sangrur. 2. The learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed a representation dated 17.07.2025 (Annexure P-3) before the respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur. The learned counsel prays for directions to the respondent No.2 to decide the abovementioned representation within a stipulated time. 3. Notice of motion to the respondents-State. Since advance notice has already been served upon the State, Mr. Eklavya Darshi, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondents-State, and waives service. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a direction for deciding the representation of the petitioner (Annexure P-3) be given to the respondent No.2 and that the instant petition be disposed of accordingly. 6. Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the present petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2 to pass a speaking order and decide the representation of the petitioner (Annexure P- 3) within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of instant order. It is, however made clear that there is no observation of this Court with regard to merits of the case and the police authorities shall be at liberty to draw their own conclusion without being influenced by the contents of instant order.
