1. By order dated 21st February, 2025, the Applicant was granted interim bail for a period of 4 weeks in proceedings arising from FIR No. 924/2024 registered under Section 21 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 at P.S. Narela Industrial Area. Through the instant application, the Applicant seeks extension of interim bail for a period of 60 days on the ground that he has multiple stones in his gall bladder for which the surgery is scheduled on 12th April, 2025.
2. In compliance with the Court’s directions, the State has handed over a copy of the status report. As per the medical record, the patient was taking treatment at Aruna Asaf Ali Government Hospital for Cholelithiasis and Haemorrhoids from Department of Surgery, lower back ache from Department of Ortho, H/O monkey bites from medicine OPD & grinding of This is a digitally signed order. tooth (bruscism) in Dental OPD. As per the records provided, the State has been informed that there is no need to admit the patient in hospital as presently he is on an OPD consultation. There is also no record of admission in the hospital. It further notes that the date of surgery will be given after the Pre-Anesthetic checkup clearance from the Department of Anaesthesia.

Considering the fact and that Petitioner is required to undergo surgery planned for 12th April, 2025, the Petitioner’s interim bail is extended up to 17th April, 2025 on the same terms conditions as provided in order dated 21st February, 2025. The Petitioner shall immediately surrender thereafter.
4. The Jail Superintendent shall provide the necessary medical treatment to the Applicant after his surrender.
5. It is further clarified that the Applicant is not entitled to further extension of bail on the same ground.
