2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. No. 47 of 2024 arising out of Koderma P.S. Case No. 222 of 2023 for the offences registered under sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Koderma.
3. Petitioner happens to be the husband of the deceased Mamta Devi who died due to asphyxia because of strangulation in her matrimonial home.
4. Mr. B.M. Tripathi, learned senior lawyer appearing on behalf of the petitioner, submitted that out of nine charge sheeted witnesses, seven witnesses have already been examined in this case.
5. Considering the nature of allegation and the fact that the trial is at the fag end of its conclusion, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected.
