Sr. No. 18 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT SRINAGAR WP(C) 2405/2024 MOHAMMAD ISMAIL SOFI …Petitioner(s)/Appellant(s) Through: Vs. AQIB SOFI AND ORS. ...Respondent(s) Through: Ms. Maha Majeed, Assisting counsel. CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJNESH OSWAL JUDGE O R D E R 18.07.2025 1. This petition has been filed by the petitioner for proving protection to his life and property as he apprehends threat from none other than his son, i.e, respondent No. 1 and respondent No’s 2 & 3 who are the material Uncle and Aunt of the respondent No. 1. 2. The respondent No’s 4-6 have filed their reply which inter-alai reveals that an FIR stands already registered in Police Station Harwan, Srinagar against the petitioner and his brothers on a complaint filed by the respondent No.1. There is also a civil dispute pending between the parties before the court of Sub-Registrar, Srinagar. 3. It appears that there is a family dispute between the petitioner and respondents 1-3, as such keeping this petition pending on board will not serve any purpose. 4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the Police Station concerned for redressal of his grievance. Disposed of.
