The case of the petitioner is that a representation was submitted to respondents 1 to 4 requesting the restoration of the public pathway / cart track in S.No. 291A, 292, and 304/8, Kaduvettipalayam, Sulur Taluk, Coimbatore District, to its original position to ensure continuous usage by considering Revenue Standing Order (RSO) 26(15). However, the respondents have failed to consider the same till date. Aggrieved by the inaction, the petitioner has preferred the present Writ Petition for appropriate relief. 3. Mr. C. Prabakaran, learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, submitted that the representation of the petitioners’ dated 13.06.2025 would be considered by the 3rd respondent, who is the competent authority, and appropriate orders would be passed thereon, on merits within a period of eight (8) weeks, after issuing notice to the HR & CE Department as well as respondents 5 and 6. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the __________ Page3 of 6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 33985 of 2025 matter, directs the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioners’ representation dated 13.06.2025. The 3rd respondent shall pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioners, respondents 5 and 6 and the HR & CE Department and affording them an opportunity of a personal hearing as contended by the learned Government Counsel. 5.
