The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of the Respondents in not releasing the payment for the bill to the Petitioner for the work executed by him namely Upgradation of CC road from D.No.20-3-185 to D.No.20-3-179 at Mansoor Nagar, 5th Cross Road in Division No.42, GGMP Grant under Agreement No.DBII/180/2023-24, Dated 15.09.2023 for an amount of Rs.3,53,653/-. 2. Heard Sri Kambhampati Ramesh Babu, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Sri A.S.C. Bose, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondent-Corporation. 3. At the time of hearing, the learned Standing Counsel passed on the written instructions signed by the Executive Engineer, Nellore Municipal Corporation. In the written instructions it was mentioned that the work was completed in the time specified and that the amounts payable to the Petitioner was also admitted. As the amounts are not available under the head of GGMP, the Respondent authorities would not make payment to the Petitioner immediately and it was further mentioned that the amounts will be paid on sanction of funds. 4. Considering the fact that the work was executed and the amounts are admitted, the Respondent authorities are directed to pay amounts due to the Petitioner within a period of four (4) months from today. 3 5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
