By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for following reliefs: "a. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to pay the regular pension to the petitioner from the date of retirement and when falls due month to month regularly after including services rendered by the petitioner as a daily wager and work charge employee in calculating qualifying service for determination of pension. b. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to pay arrears of pension to the petitioner with 12 % interest." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the above regard petitioner has already made a representation before the competent authority on 21.08.2024. 4. Learned Standing Counsel does not have any objection in the event representation of the petitioner is decided in accordance with law. 5. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with direction to the respondent no.2 to look into and consider the claim of the petitioner as raised in his representation dated 21.08.2024 and decide the same as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
