Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Jarmundi P.S. Case No. 74 of 2023, corresponding to G.R. No. 333 of 2024 for the offences under sections 379/382 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Md. Zaved Khan, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Dumka. On 04.11.2023, Bag of the informant containing his ATM Card, Bank Statement, Cheque Book and other documents were snatched away by unknown persons from the premises of State Bank of India, Jarmundi Bazar. It was submitted that petitioner is neither named in the F.I.R. nor he was put on T.I.Parade. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Learned Spl.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Md. Zaved Khan, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Dumka or his successor, in connection with Jarmundi P.S. Case No. 74 of 2023, corresponding to G.R. No. 333 of 2024.
