1. Learned AGA is directed to take notice to respondent No.1-State.
2. In this writ petition, the petitioner has sought for the following prayers: a) Issue writ in the nature of certiorari to set aside the endorsement bearing No.KHDC/ADM/RO/2020- 21/50 dated 13.05.2020 issued by 2nd respondent as per Annexure-K.

b) Issue writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to consider his representation dated 06.04.2021 as per Annexure-L for stepping up of pay on par with his junior C.Nagaraj which has been extended to other similarly situated employees as per
order dated:15-10-2009, 09.11.2011 and 13.03.2012 as per Annexure-H, F & G respectively. c) Pass such other order or direction as this Hon’ble Court deems fit on the fact and circumstances of the case in the interest of justice and equity.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a memo of even date stating that he will not press prayer (a) of the writ petition.
4. In view of the memo filed, prayer (a) of the writ petition is dismissed as not pressed.
5. The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as First Division Clerk on 01.04.1976 in respondent- Corporation and subsequently, he was promoted to the Post of Assistant Accounts Officer on 15.05.1980 and

further promoted to the post of Accounts Officer on
06.06.1985. Thereafter, he was promoted as Senior Accounts Officer in the year 1992 and then promoted to the post of Deputy Manager in the year 2011. He retired from service on 31.08.2012. The grievance of the petitioner is that when he was serving as Deputy Manager, the pay scale fixed for the post is contrary to the KCS Rules. Since the pay scale for the similarly situated persons have been revised, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 06.04.2021 vide Annexure-L to the respondent No.2 for re-fixation of pay scale. Since the respondent No.2 has not taken any action on the representation, the petitioner is before this Court.
6. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.2 submits that if this Court grants some reasonable time, the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

7. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of.
8. The respondent No.2 is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner vide Annexure-L dated 06.04.2021 in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and not later than three months from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.
