It is being stated since 2011 no relevant entries have been made in service book of petitioner depriving him of annual increments and other service benefits. Mr. Mohsin Qadri, Sr. AAG, submits that petitioner’s service book, being a vital part of his service, cannot be given or released in favour of petitioner. However, if any entry is required to be made, then service book can be handed over to DDO concerned if a request in this regard is made by him, but, subject to the condition that after making necessary entries in service book, the same will be returned.
