HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - A No. - 13245 of 2025 Court No. - 4 HON'BLE AJIT KUMAR, J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the records. 2. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioners have prayed for following substantial relief: "(I). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the case of the petitioner for revision of pension by extending benefit of special grade pay 4600/- and to make payment of due arrears of salary benefit to the petitioner forthwith certain stipulated time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court as the petitioner retired from the post of Jeep Driver on 28.02.2025 from Block - Rohta, District- Meerut." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that committee has been duly constituted way back on 20th June, 2024 to consider claim of the petitioner but no decision has been taken till date. It is further contended that in above regard petitioner has already approached the authority concerned by means of representation dated 6th December, 2023 for consideration of his claim which has also remained pending till date. 4. Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner may approach the competent authority, namely respondent No.- 2 with a fresh representation for consideration of his claim that may be directed to be decided in accordance with law. 5. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to make fresh representation before the respondent No.- 2 within a period of four weeks from today and in the event such representation is made as directed herein above, the same shall be considered and decided as expeditiously as possible preferably within a further period of two months.
