The petitioner is a complainant and he made a complaint, supported by affidavit, against the respondent No.4/Sitting Pradhan of Village Panchayat Devapar, Block Azamgarh Thsil Sagri District Azamgarh. On the aforesaid complaint, vide order dated 13.05.2025, Executive Engineer, U.P. State Construction and Labour Department, Azamgarh has been appointed as Inquiry Officer. 2. It is argued by learned counsel for the petitioner that considerable time has already been lapsed but till date no decision has been taken in the matter. 3. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 4. In view of the order proposed to be passed herein, no useful purpose would be served by putting the private respondent to notice and keeping this petition pending before this Court. However, in case the private respondent feels aggrieved by the order his/her right to seek modification/variation of the order is being kept reserved. 5. In this view of the matter, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2/District Magistrate, Azmagarh to conclude the proceedings initiated against the respondent No.4 expeditiously and strictly in accordance with law unless there is no legal impediment.
