Petitioner has moved an application for demarcation of land situate in village Sewla Khurd, Pargana Pachwadoon, Tehsil & District Dehradun. By means of this writ petition, he has sought a direction to the concerned authority to take decision on the application for demarcation. 3. Learned State Counsel was granted time to get instructions. Today, Mr. K.N. Joshi, learned Deputy Advocate General for the State, on instructions, submits that decision on petitioner’s application was taken on 04.04.2025; however, boundary pillars could not be erected for marking petitioner’s holding. 4. He submits that on 29.07.2025 when the team of revenue officials went to the spot for erecting boundary pillars, then certain private individuals and also the Assistant Labour Commissioner, Dehradun raised objection that they may also be heard, as their land is also involved. 5. Learned State Counsel further submits that land admeasuring 0.4050 hectare has also been 2025:UHC:6707 allotted to Labour department for construction of Court building and since the land belonging to other persons is also involved, they are also entitled for opportunity of hearing, therefore, demarcation application will be decided afresh and boundary pillars will be erected only thereafter in the presence of all stakeholders. 6. In such view of the matter, writ petition is disposed of with request to Assistant Collector, First Class/S.D.M, Sadar, District Dehradun, to take necessary steps to ensure that demarcation application, filed by the petitioner, is decided within six months from date of production of certified copy of this order.
