JUSTICE S SUNIL DUTT YADAV ORAL ORDER The present petition has been filed seeking for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.5 to implement the order dated 07.12.2024 issued by the respondent no.1 - Deputy Commissioner by mutating the name of the Temple Shree Channakeshava Swamy in the Record of rights pertaining to Sy.No.128 of Bhoovanahalli Village, Kasaba Hobli, Hassan Taluk and District. Further direction is sought to direct respondent no.4- Block Education Officer to implement the order dated 08.05.2023 issued by respondent no.3 at Annexure-D. 2. Learned Counsel appearing for respondent no.6 would submit that the petition itself has become - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:50508 WP No. 12645 of 2025 infructuous as revenue records stand in the name of the Temple. It is further submitted that the petitioner is not entitled for audience as there are certain oblique motives in seeking for the reliefs. 3. Learned Additional Government Advocate has filed memo for production of documents. The same is taken on record. 4. It is pointed out that revenue entries already stand in the name of the deity apart from the names of other priests. 5. Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that all steps would be taken to protect the property of the Temple and necessary action would be taken in terms of the report submitted to the Assistant Commissioner. 6. Noticing that the present petition is with limited payer and having seen revenue entries stand in the name of the deity and taking note of the stand of the - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:50508 WP No. 12645 of 2025 Government the matter does not call for further adjudication and requires to be disposed off without any further adjudication. 7.
